Upcoming Summer Events to Check Out!

We love the local vibe and we always look for opportunities to join the fun, support local talent, and connect with our community. The sunny weather makes it even easier to find events that suit our interests. Here are some of the events we’re excited about! maybe we'll see you there!


July 7–September 2023, Fridays, 7–9 pm Steppin’ On Main Free Live Performances @ Eccles Theater

Get ready to groove on Main Street! Introducing Steppin’ on Main! Free for all ages, each Friday offers an extraordinary experience for everyone. Enjoy the show and elevate your evening with dinner, craft cocktails, or a charcuterie plate at Tin Angel at the Eccles.



Experience the energy of live music every first Friday of the month. Enjoy an unforgettable night out complete with mouth-watering food truck fare and fun for all ages.

Before each concert there will be a preshow activity that changes monthly. Supplies are limited for select preshow activities. From potting plants to oversized lawn games in the park, grab dinner and have family fun before enjoying the concert!


July 7, 2023, 1st Friday, 6–9 pm Provo Art Stroll Provo Downtown Historic District

Spark your imagination with a Downtown Provo Gallery Stroll. Art Galleries in downtown Provo are open late the first Friday of every month for the Downtown Provo Art Gallery Stroll. The event is free to the public and often includes refreshments with live music. Start your journey at any one of the participating galleries, and receive directions to other downtown galleries.

July 9, 9:00 AM — 1:00 PM Wasatch Wildflower Festival @ Solitude Mountain Resort

The Wildflower Festival, hosted by the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation and the four Cottonwood Canyons ski resorts, showcases over 200 species of wildflowers that can be found throughout the Wasatch mountain range. Through guided hikes with trained naturalists, food, and music, the festival's goal is to provide a fun and encouraging environment for people of all ages to learn about the wide diversity of wildflowers and their dependence upon responsible recreation and the protection of our watershed.


July 8, 12PM -7 PM Dog Days of Summer @ the Utah State Fair Park

Find your new best friend at ALL DAY dog adoption in collaboration with Best Friends Society/NKUT!



July 13, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM 2023 Yappy Hour @ Liberty park

Bring yourself and your pooch to the park for an evening full of dogs, food, cold beverages, live music, activities, and more! The first Yappy Hour of the season takes place at Liberty Park on July 13th from 6pm to 9pm. As always half the event is dedicated to the pups with a large off-leash area for them to run and play freely. Open to all ages and admission is FREE.



July 15, 2023, starts at 9 AM Draper Days Parade - starting at Stokes AVE and ending at the intersection with Pioneer RD

The Draper Days Parade runs for approximately two hours. The parade is 1.5 miles in length and heads North on Fort ST starting at Stokes AVE and ending at the intersection with Pioneer RD


July 15th 8am 3rd Annual Head for the Cure 5K - Salt Lake City @ Sugar House Park

Join the 3rd Annual Head for the Cure 5K - Salt Lake City as they raise funds, awareness, and hope for the brain tumor community! Funds raised through this event will locally benefit Huntsman Cancer Institute and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives.


July 19 6:30-9:30 PM Zoo Brew: Disco In The Den @ Utah's HOGLE ZOO (21+) event

Welcome to the wildest brew adventure – at the zoo! Proceeds from Disco in the Den benefit the Polar Bears International that studies and protects this endangered species in the wild. Watch the lions roar as you sip a cold one. Enjoy delicious brews from local breweries, savor a bite, and experience wildlife while you explore the zoo after hours. And don't miss out on the exclusive Zoo Brew-only animal encounters and animal art. Zoo Brews are the ultimate adult-only experience you don't want to miss. Have fun while supporting animal conservation.


Jul 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm - 09:00 pm 2023 Pie and Beer Day @Powder Mountain

Celebrate Pioneer Day with Pie and Beer Dat at the original Bower Lodge! Enjoy a special pizza menu, table service and new drink menu on July 24th.


July 27 7:00-9:30 PM Eagle Rock Gospel Singers Benefit Concert @ SCC Auditorium

Join us for a great night of music and celebration with the Eagle Rock Gospel Singers.


Aug 17 6:00-10:00 PM Cancer's a Drag @ 669 S W Temple St

Cancer's a Drag is an inaugural event created to provide support for the numerous LGBTQ+ Community members living in Utah.

This event will consist of 20 Honorees who will participate in a fundraising competition culminating with a live drag performance at the event.


August 19 and 20, 2 PM.–8 P. Utah Beer Festival @ Granary Live

Over 200+ Beers & Ciders


mid-August to mid-October every Saturday and Sunday Oktoberfest at Snowbird.

It’s about more than just bending elbows. Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly affair with activities, food, and, of course, brews for days — weeks actually. The highly-anticipated festival begins mid-August and lasts through mid-October, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, along with Labor Day.

Snowbird’s Oktoberfest attracts thousands of visitors each year making it one of the largest festivals in Utah. Admission to Oktoberfest is free and the event runs from Noon - 6 pm.



Sep 23 10:00 am -10:00 PM The Marmalade Jam Fest 2023 @300 West 500 North

The Marmalade Jam Fest 2023 is the 9th annual arts, crafts and music festival in the Marmalade neighborhood of Salt Lake City and sponsored by the Capitol Hill Neighborhood Council. Free attendance, free and convenient parking.
