Can you believe it’s already the last weekend of February? The 2026 winter season is flying by, but we aren't done yet. This weekend in SLC is all about community—celebrating local landmarks, supporting our Jazz, and maybe even hanging out with a polar bear or two. Here’s what’s on my radar for the next few days.
Friday, February 27

Location: Delta Center (301 South Temple)
The Vibe: Head to the Delta Center to catch the Jazz take on Zion Williamson and the Pelicans in a high-stakes Western Conference showdown.
Saturday, February 28
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Hogle Zoo (2600 East Sunnyside Avenue)
The Vibe: Join the keepers at Hogle Zoo for an interactive day of games, crafts, and enrichment tosses celebrating our favorite Arctic residents, Nikita and Neva.
Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Storytime at 10:30 AM)
Location: Marmalade Library (280 W 500 N)
The Vibe: Celebrate a decade of the Marmalade Branch with a full day of special storytimes, art exhibits, and community activities at one of SLC’s most architectural libraries.
Sunday, March 1
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Wheeler Historic Farm (6351 South 900 East, Murray)
The Vibe: Stock up on local honey, fresh winter produce, and artisanal baked goods while enjoying the historic charm of Wheeler Farm.
Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Millcreek Common (1354 E Chambers Ave, Millcreek)
The Vibe: Browse a cozy indoor collection of vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, and original local art at this eclectic Sunday afternoon market.
Between the court-side thrills and the local market finds, it’s shaping up to be a legendary weekend in the valley. Whatever you end up doing, make sure to tag me in your photos! Stay warm, stay active, and I’ll see you back here on Monday for the recap.
