Salt Lake’s spring calendar is fully waking up this weekend, and there’s a little bit of everything happening across the valley—from fairy villages and food festivals to community celebrations, farmers markets, and even a late-night puzzle competition. Whether you’re looking to wander local markets, keep the kids entertained, or simply enjoy the sunshine, here are a few events worth adding to your weekend plans.


America 250 – Celebration in Draper

A family-friendly community celebration honoring America’s upcoming 250th anniversary with activities, entertainment, and local festivities in Draper.

Camp Dig It!

An interactive outdoor event where kids can dig, explore, and play with construction-themed activities and hands-on fun.

Farm Fest 2026

A springtime festival featuring local vendors, farm-inspired activities, community booths, and family entertainment.

Jigsaw Puzzle Competition

Think you’re fast with puzzles? Gather a team and compete in this unique late-night jigsaw challenge at Murray Park.

When: Saturday, May 16 | 5:00 PM – Midnight


Utah Food Festival 2026

A weekend packed with local flavors, food vendors, cultural cuisine, and culinary experiences celebrating Utah’s diverse food scene.

When: May 16–17


2026 Woodland Fairy Festival

📍1100 West 7800 South, West Jordan, UT 84088

One of Utah’s most whimsical seasonal traditions returns with fairy houses, costumes, magical displays, and fantasy-themed fun for all ages.

When: May 16 – June 27


2026 Bohemian Bum Farmer’s Market

📍18 North Rio Grande Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Browse local produce, handmade goods, vintage finds, and artisan vendors at this lively downtown farmers market.

When: Sundays through October 4


However you spend the weekend, this is one of those great spring stretches where Salt Lake really starts to come alive again.
